And the countdown begins!

6 days....I cannot believe that in just 6 days I will be leaving for Europe!! It still doesn't seem real.  So many thoughts and emotions are going through my head right now.  Everything from both excitement and fear to "Where the f is my passport?" and "Will I have to use a bidet?"

Sunday, I'll leave for Glasgow, Scotland, to visit a family friend who hasn't been to the states in a few years!  I can't wait to see the country and just explore!!  After that, I'll head over to meet everyone in Madrid.  From there, we'll bus to Granada and move in with our host families.  Then class starts a few days after.  Other than class, I'm stoked about the whole trip!

This year, one of our free weekends (they give us two free weekends without any excursions planned) also falls on a Spanish holiday.  I'll, have June 10, 11 and 12 off of school as well as the weekend.  I had no clue what I was going to do for the break until the other day when my mom and I were talking.  It started as a joke but then we got to playing around on the Internet and she has decided to come meet me!  It was totally random and just pure badass!  We're going to meet in Amsterdam for those few days and tour the city and just LIVE!!!  I can't wait.

After that, I'll head back to that and finish my studies.  The last week of the program, we go to Madrid and tour and eat, etc.  Originally, I was just going to come back to the states on July 5th.  Well, my father called me the other day and wants to come meet me then and backpack for a week!  I couldn't believe it...both of my parents are coming to visit me in Europe (we couldn't talk Haley into it...lol)!!!  While Dad and I haven't really made plans yet, I think we're going to head to Pamplona, Spain for their annual San Fermín Festival where the running of the bulls takes place! Yes, I think my dad and I are going to run with the bulls in SPAIN!!!  After that, who knows?  The two of us can get pretty crazy.  How lucky can I get?!?!  I truly am blessed beyond measure and cannot wait for the adventures and experiences that are in store for me this summer!!!  If you want to come visit me, COME ON...seems to be the thing to do!
